About Us:

We are Tom and Belinda King and we are both animal lovers. We begin our lives together in 1971in Irving, Texas.

Tom had friends in the Hampton, Virginia Police department in the K9 Unit which taught him the basics of K9 Training
in 1968. It was through that friendship and love for the GSD that he enjoyed training and working with dogs before
returning to Texas after serving 8 years in the military service.

We both loved the German Shepherd Dogs and began raising them for AKC Confirmation Shows. We were
members of the Forth Worth GSD club in those early days. Our first lines and pedigrees were the prodigy of Yoncalla
Mike, 1966 and 1968 GV Ch., ROM, owned by Bob and Linda Freeny. We were also one of the original members of
the North Texas Search and Rescue Club and worked our dogs every Saturday morning with the Scout Troop from
Denton, Texas. They were our ‘victims’ and in those days we used the fields in Grand Prairie on Beltline Rd. as our
search area. Of course now it is all homes and developed.

Tom lost his ‘favorite’ dog in an accident in 1975 and stopped training dogs. He lost interest in all the activities
associated with the dogs even though Belinda tried to renew his interest several times. We still had several dogs
around and have kept them as pets through the years. Several were not the German Shepherd Dog but other breeds
as well.

Belinda kept trying and in 1995 she purchased another GSD (Sadie) when Tom was away on business. Tom retired
in 1996 and they moved to Odessa, Florida. It was there that they met another friend that is a GSD enthusiast. It was
through their friendship with Nathaniel James and his Training needs that Tom became interested in Training again.
Belinda was more interested in starting a breeding program with Sadie.

Our Breeding Program

Our current Breeding program was started in Odessa, Florida in 1997 just north of Tampa, Florida.

Our goals and purpose was to provide Quality German Shepherd puppies at reasonable prices to Dog Sport
enthusiasts, pet owners, law enforcement and Search organizations. Our puppies are bred for temperament and
abilities to work as an assist dog, do K9 Sports (AKC, SCH, etc), or just be one of the greatest pets you will ever have.
Our Dog’s pedigrees will stand on their own merit with some of the best in the world with Working Pedigrees or
German Show lines.

Our males are what people expect in a German Shepherd Dog, noble heads which portray the Majestic Look in the
German Shepherd male dog, strong character and even temperament with proven Pedigrees to substantiate their
working abilities and intelligence.

We normally have 1-2 puppy litters a year but we are expanding our Breeding Program with 5 great females. This will
allow us to have 2-3 litters a year by rotating the breeding cycles and allow our females to remain strong active
females with plenty of recuperating time between litters. Our females are supplemented with special diets as well as
the new born puppies to assure sufficient nourishment is being provided to mothers and pups before, during, and

We try to follow our puppy progenies through pictures and emails with our puppy owners to evaluate the results of our
program. Most of our puppy owners are ‘pet owners’ and don’t pursue the other activities available in the dog world
like Schutzhund, K9 Sports, or AKC shows and trials. The quality of dogs we are producing with the pedigrees we
have showing temperament, consistency in working and show lines will stand on their own as some of the best in the
breed. Providing a pet that can do it all if the owner wishes to pursue advanced activities with their dog.

In 2001, we returned to Texas and settled in Rhome to start our construction for a kennel and training area. It was
through new friends that we began the free training sessions on the weekends for all owners and breeds. Training
sessions for people that loved their dogs as much as we do ours. People that wanted a pet to be well behaved, social
with humans and other dogs, and wanted to take the time to learn the ‘how to' of obedience training.
